Kangaroo Jacs

Hi Daddy!!

I wanted to tell you all about my day yesterday. Mommy and me went to this place called Kangaroo Jacs. Its this really big place w/ lots of bounce houses!!! Really, really big ones too!! Tina and the girls came too and I bounced around w/ Christina & Michaela. It was sooo much fun daddy!! I only wanted to go in this one bounce house though because the other ones looked a little scary. I kept hearing kids scream when they went down it and it made me nervous. But mommy showed me this one that had a really big slide. After i got my courage up, i climbed the stairs w/ mommy & the girls and slide down w/ them. It was sooo much fun that i wanted to do it again and again!! I even went down by myself!!!!! After Kangaroo Jacs mommy took me to McDonalds and we had lunch w/ Ms. Tina and the girls. I didn't really eat but boy was i thirsty. After McDonalds we went over to their house and played for a little bit, then it was my nap time so mommy had to drive me home. I had such a fun day yesterday!! I hope i can go back someday. Maybe you can come too!! I would love to bounce around w/ you daddy!!

Also, mommy has been teaching me to go pee-pee on the potty. She even took me to the store and bought me a special big-boy potty. It even makes a magical sound when i go pee-pee in it to let me know that i have gone. Its been kind of frustrating though because I want to be a big boy and sometimes i know when i have to go potty but sometimes i get so busy playing that i forget and i end up going in my big boy underwares. Mommy gets super excited when i go on the potty. She squeals and jumps around and claps her hands and gives me big hugs and high fives. She has a chart for me to put cool stickers on too. She even gives me a lolipop after i go. I like lolipops! I will try my best daddy to go pee-pee on the potty... just for you daddy!!

Surf & Sand....

Hey Daddy!!

I had an exciting day today.... mommy took me to the beach. We played in the sand and splashed in the water. Mommy even built a sand castle for me but she accidentally built it on a crab's house. I don't think the crab was happy about that, it kept going in his hole and bringing out sand that mommy had accidentally covered it with. After that I played w/ some other kids. They were building a sand mountain. I was helping w/ my shovel. Mommy packed us some lunch and we ate on the beach. After lunch we played in the water more and I found some more kids to play w/. Soon it was time to leave and come home. Mommy said it was my nap time. Mommy brought the camera and took some pictures.... so here they are. I wish you could have been there daddy. I am really starting to like the beach and the water and waves. Maybe when you get back we can make a special trip to the beach.

The Park

Hey Daddy!! Mommy took me to the park today and I wanted to show you a few things that I can do now. I know how to walk across the bridge now w/out holding on. I also know how to climb up the slide. That makes mommy really nervous and she tries to help me but I tell her not to. I am a big boy and can do it all by myself. I can even walk up the slide while holding my ball. I know, I better be careful. :) I can also hang from the bar above the little slide. Its fun and mommy says I look like a monkey when I do it.

Tonight is movie night. I am not sure what mommy has picked out but I am sure it will be a good movie. She said that we can have popcorn too! I like popcorn.

Swimming Champ!!

Hi Daddy!!!

I haven't posted on here in a while because I have been so busy w/ mommy. Tomorrow is my last day of swimming lessons and I am a Swimming Champ.... well sort of. :) Mommy finally convinced me that the water was ok and fun to be in. After a couple of days adjusting I am now able to kick my feet and blow bubbles in the water. Mommy lets me practice in the bathtub at night and in the baby pool out back. I am getting pretty good at it. I will ask mommy to take some pictures of me tomorrow. There aren't too many people there that can but I will see since its my last day. Mommy said that she can sign me up again when you get home so maybe you can come to those classes.

Mommy said we might go to the beach on Friday depending on the weather. She said that we are going to go see Nana & Pops soon. I am excited about that! She said that we will get to see Christopher and Kenna and go swimming in their pool. Maybe I can show off my skills that I learned.

Mommy says its my bedtime so I have to go. Have sweet dreams, sleep tight and don't let the bed bugs bite. I miss you daddy!!! I love you too!!

1 - 2 - 3....Jump!

Hi Daddy!!

Today mommy and me went to my swimming lessons. I am slowly getting use to it. Today I practiced reaching for the edge, blowing bubbles in the water and jumping off the side of the pool. Mommy counts 1-2-3 -Jump... and i jump in. Its fun and I like it. Mommy showed me how to blow bubbles in the water by blowing on this disk thing that flips over but i don't like getting my face wet so i just let mommy keep doing it. After swimming mommy and me went to the post office and mailed you another package. Its for your birthday! Mommy got a card and let me color on it for you. I hope you like it! Mommy put some other goodies in there too.

Well... mommy says that its nite-nite time. So i have to go daddy. I love you and miss you so much! Have sweet dreams, sleep tight and don't let the bed bugs bite. MUAH!

~ Just Keep Swimming ~

HI Daddy!!!! Mommy and me had swim lessons yesterday. I did not like it.... not one little bit! It was cloudy and rainy and the water was cold. There are 4 other kids in my class. 2 of them are little babies. The other 2 are big boys like me. We started off sitting on the side of the pool. We sang a song about kicking our feet and hands and then it was time to jump in the water. Mommy jumped in first and i did not like that she was in the water. I knew what was going to happen next so i tried to make my get-away but mommy snatched me right up and in I went!!!! She tried to cheer me up w/ toys and singing but it didn't help. We sang another song while bouncing in a circle. Then it was time to go on my belly.... mommy first had to get my death grip off of her, which she succeeded..... that mommy sure is strong. :) I cried some more. We sang the pancake song and had to flip over to our back.... i was a little better on my back but i still wanted mommy to hold me. After that Ms. Erica decided that since we all were looking a little blue it was time to end the class. So she said that if we jumped in off the edge that we were done and could get out. I didn't like that idea but mommy did it anyways. I was sooo happy when class was over. I was sooo cold! Mommy had a snack for me and some juice when we were done. Later mommy and me went over to Ms. Tina's house so that i could play w/ Christina & Michaela. I was Christina's birthday party. We played a little and then it was cake time. I ate a whole piece of cake all by myself daddy!!!! Christina opened her gifts and then we played outside just a little bit longer. Ms. Dee was over too w/ her boys. I like Robbie and Hunter... they are fun to play w/.

Today is swim lessons again. I don't know if mommy is taking pictures because she is in the water w/ me. So i will just put a picture of my favorite character that can swim.... Dori! Mommy kept telling me yesterday to: "Just keep swimming, Just keep swimming, Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming". That mommy sure is silly sometimes! Well its time to eat some breakfast before we go. I miss you and love you daddy!!!!

Independence Day

Happy Independence Day Daddy!!! I wish you could have been here to celebrate w/ us. We had so much fun!! Mommy and me went to Ms. Tina's camper and hung out w/ the girls. First we went to the pool. They have a kiddie pool like at Grammy's camper so I was running in and out of that. Then there was this other kind of pool that had little fountains that had water shooting up. There was this tall tower thing that had different colored buckets on top that would fill w/ water and then when they got full they would dump down on the kids below. I was a little scared of that but I liked watching the kids get splashed on. It was funny! There was a turtle that squirted water out its mouth. After the pool it was lunch time and nap time. Mommy was sooo happy and said that I was a good boy for taking a nap even though there was a lot going on. After nap time we got up and guess what I did??? I went on a paddle boat w/ Mommy, Ms. Tina & Michaela!!! Mommy said that I had to wear a life jacket since I don't know how to swim yet and we all climbed into this boat and took off. We went around this little pond and then through a tunnel. It was fun!!!! Then guess what else I did??? I played mini golf!!! Yep.... mommy says that I am the next Tiger Woods... whoever he is?? After mini golf we went back to the pool because we were all so hot and sweaty. We splashed around in the pool. Mommy found this water slide and slide down w/ me..... I didn't like it too much but I was glad that mommy came w/ me. Then it was time for dinner. Mommy made me a corn dog, which I only at the bun part because I was too excited for what was next.... FIREWORKS!!! They had pretty fireworks daddy! And they didn't even scare me. I thought they were pretty cool!! Mommy said that even though you weren't here celebrating w/ us - that you were on the big ship celebrating and doing your job to protect us back here so we can continue to celebrate the 4th of July! I miss you and love you daddy.... thank you for protecting me and mommy!!

Catchin Up

Hi daddy! I am sorry i haven't been on in a while. I have been busy. I spent a whole week at Grammy & Pop-pops house. I had alot of fun and can't wait to go back. Sissy had to leave the other day to go see her dad in Florida. I was sad to see her leave. I have alot of fun playing w/ her. I cant' wait for her to come home. Today mommy and me went to the playground and played for a little bit. I had corndogs for lunch today and ate them all!! After my nap mommy and me played in the backyard w/ my trucks and i ate my snack on my picnic table. It was really hot today!! Mommy decided that she wanted taco's for dinner, so she took me to a place called Taco Bell. She got me 2 tacos. I didn't like the lettuce and cheese so she took it off for me. But i ate almost a whole taco. Of course i spilled most of it in my lap because i was eating it upside down. I dont' think mommy was upset though. She still let me have the twist things afterwards. :) After dinner mommy and me went on a bike ride through the neighborhood. It was fun... i was singing the Taxi-Taxi song. Its my new favorite song. I will teach you the words when you get back from the big ship. Here are a couple of pictures from our last day at the pool w/ Grammy. Baseball Fun

Good Morning Daddy!! I wanted to tell you about my day yesterday. I went to Austin's T-ball game. I had fun playing in the grass w/ Sissy & K-K. We ran a race and played ring around the rosey. After the game mommy took me back to Grammy & Pop-pops house so her and sissy could go to a real baseball game. I think they had fun but i was asleep when they got home.

Today we are going to the library to read some books and then we are off to the camper to go swimming again! I like splashing in the water. We went yesterday and had alot of fun. It wasn't very crowded either.

Mommy says that its time to get ready, so i have to go for now. Do you miss me?? I miss you!! Mommy said that you had some pics to send, i hope i get to see you in them. Have a good day today on the big ship daddy!! I miss you and love you!!

Hi Daddy!!!

Happy Daddy's Day! I hope you had a good day today! Mommy said that you got my box that had my hand print I made you! I hope you liked it! I had fun making it for you. :) I wish you were here so that I could give you a big hug and kiss!

Guess what we did today?? Mommy said she had a surprise for me and boy was it!! I saw Thomas the Train today and even rode on him! It was so much fun daddy!! Mommy took lots of pics and even has a video. Maybe when you get back we can come back up here and do it again!

Tonight I am going to stay the night at Aunt Subby's. We are going to play w/ Austin and K-K tomorrow while Aunt Subby goes to work. I can't wait!!

Rain, Rain Go Away

Hi daddy!!!

I just wanted to let you know that we are at Grammy & Pop-pop's house. We got here on Friday and spent the rest of the day at the camper. Sissy, Austin & K-K stayed the night w/ Grammy but mommy, me and pop-pop came home to sleep. We woke up today and got dressed and ready to go to Austin's last baseball game but it got rained out. Mommy said that we will go on Tuesday instead and watch Austin play baseball. It rained all day today while mommy and me ran some errands. Then we went over to Aunt Subby & Uncle Danny's house and ate dinner. We had Pizza. I was so busy playing w/ all of Austin's toys that i didn't want to eat. Mommy even tried to convince me that if i ate, she would let me have a cupcake but i didn't want that either. After dinner, Austin opened his gifts. Mommy, sissy and me got him a game for him to play on his Nintendo thing, like what Emily has. I picked it out though... it was a Wall E game. I think he liked it!

Tomorrow is my surprise from mommy. She is excited and we have to get up extra early to make sure we are there on time. I will be sure to let you know tomorrow what it was. I can't wait. Hi Daddy!

Mommy showed me pictures of you last night. She said that you were in a very special place and bought me and sissy some cool things. She also showed me on the map where you were. I hope you are safe daddy and I hope you are having fun. I just got done watching one of my favorite shows, The Backyardigins. Mommy and me had a fun day today. We took sissy to a doctor appt first and then afterwards I went to lunch w/ mommy. She had a meeting w/ some other ladies and I got to come along. Mommy said I was well behaved this time. Last time she went to lunch, I got bored and wanted to throw all my toys and I wanted to run around. This time mommy brought lots of things for me to do. She brought colors, toys, trucks, snacks, juice, games. Mommy said I was a very good boy. She was sooo happy and proud of me.

Me, Mommy & Sissy are going to go to Grammy's house in a couple of days. Mommy said that we are going to go camping and play in the pool. She even said she has a BIG surprise for me. She said that its Black & Blue and runs on a track and makes this sound: CHOO-CHOO. I can't wait to see what it is because Mommy sure is excited about it. :)

Surf's Up

Hi Daddy! I had so much fun today. Grammy and Aunt Brenda are here visiting me, mommy and sissy & we went to the beach today! First mommy fixed us pancakes and bacon like she always does on Saturdays. They were yummy but i only ate 2 pancakes and 1/2 piece of bacon. I was too excited to go to the beach and didn't want to eat. Finally mommy packed us all up and we went to the beach where big jet flies. Mommy had lots of toys for me and i even found a couple of friends to play with. We played a game where we would run from the water. It was fun! Mommy found a crab diggin a hole. It was a tiny one! Then some big black clouds came and mommy said that we had to go. I was tired anyways so i didn't mind. It rained on the way home. Mommy said you called while we were shopping. I was w/ Grammy so i wasn't able to talk w/ you. Mommy said that you had a fun day today like me. She said that you are going to send pictures of what you did. I cant' wait to see them.

Tomorrow is suppose to be fun too. Mommy said that we are going swimming w/ Christina & Michaela tomorrow!! I hope mommy remembers her camera and takes pictures of me swimming for you!

Icy Treat

Hi Daddy! Mommy and me went to go see Pop-pop, Grammy & Great Aunt Gayle for a couple of days to cheer them up. Mommy said that they were sad because Great Uncle Bob died. I am not sure what that means but mommy said that she will explain it to me one day. Mommy was a little upset at me because i was running around alot at a place that i shouldn't have been running around but she wasn't mad for long. Mommy was pointing out all the relatives i have.... AND BOY THERE WAS ALOT!!! Too many for me to remember... so i will just stick w/ my K-K for now!

Tonight i had fish stix for dinner. I ate all of those but left my rice & asparagus on my plate. Mommy gave me a popsicle even though i didn't eat all my dinner. It was yummy and very messy.

Mommy says its bath time for me so i have to go. I miss you daddy & love you very much!!

Tattle Time

Hi daddy!

I have to tattle on mommy, she made a big boo-boo last night. She got the clippers out and tried to trim my hair and it turned into a disaster. She was crying but laughing at the same time and all I wanted was the hair off of me because it was Titchy!! So today she is going to try and fix it and make me a cute boy again. I think she should leave the hair styling up to the professionals next time.

Today is Waffle Wednesday. I had 2 waffles this time and ate them all. Mommy has a busy day today. She said that we have to pack our clothes and go see Grammy & Pop-Pop. Mommy said that Pop-Pop is sad and we have to go make him happy. I can't wait to go because I like riding in the car. I get to eat snacks & watch movies!

Mommy showed me pictures of you on the big ship the other night. She said that you were having fun and busy working and missing me. I miss you too daddy! I can't wait for you to come home and play w/ me. I have to go now, mommy said its time to try and fix my hair and get the car loaded.

You got to move it, move it!!!!

Daddy!!! Guess what I did yesterday??? I saw the movie Madagascar 2. After dinner mommy took me and sissy to the playground where there was a bouncy house, bouncy slide, bouncy basketball hoops, popcorn, pretzels and lemonade!!! They had music playing and all the kids were dancing and running around. I took my shoes off and bounced around in the bouncy house for a little bit. There was another little girl in there w/ me and she was going crazy bouncing around. She kept making me fall down but I thought it was fun and kept cracking up laughing. Finally after it got dark the movie started. It was a funny movie. But then there was lightning in the sky and mommy got worried so we packed our stuff up and walked home.

Then today, mommy made us pancakes for breakfast. I ate 4 pancakes daddy!!! After breakfast mommy and sissy started cleaning the house. I wanted to help, so mommy let me take a paper towel and wipe down the windows w/ her. I also helped her wipe off the table. Then she let me help her do the dishes. She filled up the sink w/ warm soapy water and let me splash around in it. It was fun and I got so wet that mommy had to change my clothes and wipe the puddles of water on the floor that I left for her. :) Mommy then fixed me and sissy grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch. We watched Miss Spiders Friends while we ate lunch. Now its my nite-nite time. Mommy said to take a good nite-nite because when I get up we are going to the mall. Sissy has a sleep over tonight w/ one of her friends and mommy needs to get her a birthday gift. She said that we will go look at the puppies while we are there and if we have time we might go to the playground there. I really like that playground.

Sweet Treat

Hello Daddy! Mommy said you called her today. I am sorry I didn't get to talk to you. I was too busy playing w/ my trucks. Mommy and me went to the store and bought a bunch of stuff today to put in another box to you. I was playing w/ it all in the buggy. She also bought me a new Lighting McQueen car because I accidentially lost the one you bought me. She also found Mac, so now McQueen has someone to play with. Mommy fixed Pizza for dinner tonight. It was yummy. I had 4 pieces. They were small but mommy was proud of me for eating a big kid dinner. She took me and sissy for a bike ride after dinner. I like going on bike rides, they are fun! I wish you could have come w/ us. I was pointing at all the birds and trees and telling mommy about it. After we got back mommy fixed me a surprise.... she made me an ice cream cone. It was sooo messy but I gobbled it up. I accidentially dropped my cone on the ground so mommy gave me the rest of hers. Mommy says its my bed time so..... Hello Daddy!!

Hi Daddy! Its almost my bed time and I wanted to tell you thank you for calling me tonight. When you called I was getting all my books ready so mommy could read to me. I wanted her to read me the Nemo book that makes all the sounds. Sometimes I am shy on the phone but I will keep trying harder each time I to talk to you. Today was suppose to be Waffle Wednesday but I think mommy got the days mixed up because I had waffles yesterday. So today mommy fixed me a bowl of cereal. I had Apple Jacks. They are yummy! After breakfast I watched a little bit of cartoons while mommy was busy on the puter and making her list for the grocery store. Once she was done we headed off to get some groceries. I like going to the grocery store w/ mommy because she always gets the fun cart that has a car on it so I can sit and play. I pretend that I am Lighting McQueen from Cars and race around the store. Its fun! After the store, mommy made me a Jelly Samich and then it was nite-nite time. I really wasn't tired so I didn't sleep long. After nap I helped mommy clean up my toys. She let me have the mop and I pretended to mop the floor. I was not happy at dinner time tonight. Mommy made me a big kid plate for dinner with stuff her and sissy were eating but I wasn't too happy about that and refused to eat. I wanted to have cookies instead, but mommy said no. I didn't like that so she gave me a sippy of milk instead. Maybe I will try next time to eat a big kid dinner. Now its my bed time daddy.
